PRESIDENTS FORUM HONORS
CJ HUESTON
NAPLES, FL (December 21, 2004) --The Presidents Forum of Southwest
Florida named C.J. Hueston, President and CEO of Corporate Dimensions,
Inc. the Outstanding President of the Year for 2004. The award was
presented by the organization’s leader Dr. Jim Carter at the
group’s annual holiday party.
Hueston’s career path led her from the classroom to the boardroom.
She began as a teacher in the Midwest, now heading one of Southwest
Florida’s leading executive search firms. She developed the
idea for Corporate Dimensions Inc. based on her own experience hiring
staff. She came to realize the importance of choosing the right people,
capitalizing on their strengths, and creating teams that worked well
together. She launched CDI to answer the need for help she had often
felt herself in the time-consuming process of hiring.
“C.J. Hueston’s untiring contributions and sharing of
ideas with members of The President’s Forum has been invaluable,” said
Carter. “She helps us focus on the number one asset in all
of our companies—the employees.”
After 14 years as an educator, Hueston was recruited by Barron Collier
Companies, an organization with interests in real estate development,
agriculture, and oil and gas exploration. Within six months she was
named President of International Automated Energy Systems (IAES),
a division of The Barron Collier Companies. Hueston had spent 12
years with IAES when the entrepreneurial spirit grabbed hold of her.
As president and CEO of CDI, Hueston has put her firm on a fast-growth
track, focusing on local, regional, and national placements of qualified
professionals. CDI was named the ‘Best in Business” by
Gulfshore Business Magazine in 2002.
In addition to her all-out commitment to her company, Hueston has
made a point of staying involved in her community. She maintains
her strong interest in youth through her membership on the DRILL
Advisory Board to the Sheriff of Collier County and in the development
of a new Youth Leadership program with the Greater Naples Chamber
of Commerce. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for Edison
College, and is on the Board of Directors and Vice Chairman of the
Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce.
While serving on the Chamber, Hueston was awarded “The 2003
Director of the Year” for her outstanding participation and
contribution to the community
